Helene spent nine years in aircraft metrology before she rented Suite 8 — gauge blocks, first-article inspections, the kind of paperwork that treats a thousandth as a moral issue. She still opens the hangar most Mondays at 6:40 to tick the master 6-iron bar before anyone else touches a jaw. Players meet her as the person who will stop a job because the hygrometer and the bar disagree.
She writes the neighbor-stair spec the other two techs work to. If your sheet has a red flag, it was her tolerance that drew it, even if Darnell pulled the mass.

Darnell Pike
Darnell came from a club-repair bench in Derby and got tired of assembling “matched sets” that had never been ticked. He owns the heat gun and the epoxy fridge. When a neighbor is eight-plus CPM off and you want a tube swapped, he is the one who will tell you whether the blank you brought will even have a chance, or whether you are about to glue a louder problem into the hosel.
He will talk about shafts for as long as you want. He will not talk about swing path. That is not shyness. That is the job.

Marisol Quinn
Marisol runs the 7:00 to 11:00 block, the hours when the suite is quietest and the Kansas air is still honest. She came from a composite shop that laid up fairings; she treats graphite like something that remembers yesterday’s temperature. If you show up with clubs that spent the night in a truck bed, she will make them sit on the rail until the heads stop feeling like fence posts.
Friday noon close is her rule as much as Helene’s. She will not start a stair at 11:20.
Who you will not meet
No commissioned “fitter” on a headset
Nobody here is paid on the blank they talk you into. The work order lists a capture, then optionally a tube. If you want a sales floor, there are several within a few miles of Broadway. We kept the vises instead.
